Meeku Matrame Chepta Review and Analysis.

The concept of the movie is very modern and explicitly justifies the abuse of the latest technology by the present generation. The way it was placed in the comics is nice and makes a fascinating script. Tharun Bhascker is very persuasive in his role and his acting skills are damn good at the same time. In comedy scenes, he acts very naturally. He’s like the young generation of today who is carefree about life and seek new opportunities to be happy. He has incredibly pulled off the role of the lead hero. He impresses and shows the helpless situation of the character superbly. Everything’s fine, whether it’s his body language or dialogue, which makes him an outstanding actor.

Abhinav Gomatam in ‘Ee Nagaraniki Emaindi’ has already shown his comedic timing and here he adds another dimension with a strong comedy. He’s like a leading hero, not like a comedian. His ‘bromance’ with Tharun Bhascker is the mainstay of this story. Tharun Bhascker Dhaassyam and Abhinav Gomatam performed incredibly as friends in the movie. Vani Bhojan’s debut with the film does not have a screen presence and doesn’t have enough influence to make a mark among the audience. Till the end, Vani Bhojan does not have the scope to do anything but the irritating girlfriend of Rakesh. Her character is badly etched and annoying, which makes a newcomer’s career a nightmare. Anasuya Bharadwaj also appears on the screen but for a short period of time. She did justice to the brief role in the movie. The rest of the supporting cast on this movie is also good.

What you might not like in the movie is its slow pace. The storey of Anasuya’s previous like and the long marriage episode have undone the mood. Twists and turns in the movie are quite predictable. The screenplay is genre-specifically organized. With the first half of the film, we don’t see any problem. But at the interval, you feel that the film is almost near its end. The dilemma has started here. The second part is extended like an elastic. The characters and their characteristics often seem cliched.

The entire movie runs slow, but the climax was wrapped up in a hurry, which makes the films ending dull. Cinematography, songs and dialogues of the movie are mediocre. Editing is neat and camera work is decent. The budget of the movie was tight, so they did a great job in such a tight budget. More twists and comic punch lines would have made a big difference.
