By bus, you shall take 1.5 hour to reach Laguna Golf Phuket by paying a bus fare of 80-180 baht. Buses connect Laguna Golf Phuket  to Patong on a regular basis, and operate every day. If you have a rented vehicle at your disposal, it offers the cheapest way to get from Laguna Golf Phuket, Bang Tao, to Patong Beach costing 55 – 85 baht and takes around 30-40 minutes.

5. Khao Phala

7. King Power Phuket

King Power Phuket is a glitzy duty-free shopping mall near Phuket International Airport. It holds the monopoly for their services in Thailand and has an impressive range of commodities. You get high-end fashion labels like Hugo Boss, Calvin Klein and Pierre Cardin, premium accessories such as Omega, Rolex and Longines and cosmetics from Clinique, Estée Lauder and MAC.

The King Power Phuket is located at a distance of approximately 14 kilometres from Patong Beach. It takes around 30 minutes to reach King Power Phuket from the Patong Beach via Route 4030. It takes much longer if travelled by bus or Blue Songtaews.

How to Reach

You can reach King Power Phuket from Patong Beach by bus, taxi or Songteause. The distance is approximately 14 kilometres and it takes 300-370 baht by taxi and you can reach in 30 minutes. It is located 4.3 kilometres southwest of Phuket Town. There are no connecting buses or Blue Songtaews departing from Patong and arriving at King Power Phuket. Buses from Patong connect Phuket Town run on a regular basis, and operate every day. From there you can take a taxi to reach King Power Phuket. If you have a rented vehicle at your disposal, it offers hassle-free and convenient conveyance from Patong to the King Power Phuket. You can go for a half-day tour to the Old Phuket Town and include a visit to the King Power Phuket. That would include round trip transfers too.

8. Coconut Island

Coconut Island is a picturesque, idyllic island off the coast of mainland just 500 metres away. Also called Koh Maphrao, it is a small isle about 2.5 kilometres in length and 1.5 kilometres in breadth. It retains its own nascent charm and does not even have electricity connection apart from private generators. There are three easily reachable beaches in the island.

The Coconut Island, Phuket, is located at a distance of approximately 15 kilometres from Patong Beach. It takes around 1 hour to reach Coconut Island, Phuket, from the Patong Beach. 

How to Reach

It takes roughly 5 minutes by long-tail boat to reach Koh Maphrao’s main pier from Phuket mainland. The island is located on the northern part of its west coast overlooking Phuket. On the way to the island from the main land, one gets to pass several famous floating restaurants that are located between Laem Hin and Koh Maphrao’s jetty. The island of Koh Maphrao is roughly rectangular in shape, and about a fourth of it is covered by mangrove forests which is the home to lovely long-tailed macaques. There are three beaches in the island and to reach them a road criss-crosses through the island from west to east, starting from the pier and ending at a viewpoint in the east-coast jungle. The cheapest way to travel from Patong to The Coconut Island, Phuket, is to take a Blue Songtaews and reach the Coconut Island via Longtail Boat which costs 300 – 370 baht and takes 2 hours and 2 minutes for the whole journey.

9. Ao Chalong pier

Ao Chalong Pier is one of the main pier and anchorage of Phuket. It is a busy area with shops, restaurants and a picturesque beach. The pier is the place to embark upon boat trips to all the nearby islands, including Racha Island and Koh Hae. Ao Chalong Pier is in the Chalong Bay where you can find dive sites for underwater enthusiasts and also enjoy activities such as sailing and cruising.

The Ao Chalong pier, Phuket, is located at a distance of approximately 17 kilometres from Patong Beach. It takes around 24 minutes to reach Ao Chalong pier, Phuket, from the Patong Beach via Route 4030 and Route 4028. It takes a bit longer about 30 minutes via Routes 4020 and 4024. 

How to Reach

The fastest way to get from Patong to Chalong pier is by taxi that costs approximately 470 -600 baht and takes around 20 minutes. If you take a bus/Blue Songtaews from Patong to Phuket Town and thereby take a bus/Blue Songtaews from Phuket Town to Chalong, the time taken would be approximately 2 hours 7 minutes but would be the cheapest mode of transport costing merely 60 baht.
